Co-hosted with Santander, this session will help you look at the different ways to build your personal brand and network across finance and the fintech sector. For a long time, bankers were encouraged not to use social media in order to avoid appearing with the wrong headline on the front page of newspapers. Today, however, social media skills are key. But it goes deeper than that – emotional intelligence, empathy and interpersonal skills help you connect with others both in person and virtually. And building deep relationships with others is often the highlight of our lives.

This event is aimed at those who don’t like networking or building a brand because you think it’s not necessary and for those who would like to enhance their network/personal brand, but don’t know how.

The GOOD FINANCE Framework (GFF) promotes the importance of networking to build relationships and open doors, which are central themes of this event.

The GFF is a unique, action-focused framework that aims to create a better work environment for all employees and was launched to mark the end of the first year of the Accelerating Change Together (ACT) Research Programme. You can learn more more about the ACT Research Programme and the GFF here.

Key Takeaways:

  • How you can add value to your CV and increase your salary by building a brand outside your employer
  • How to build a social community from 1 to 130,000 people
  • How to have more fun in life by giving yourself permission to shine.
