Beyond #MeToo and #TimesUp – the role of women and men in the workplace
In this last year there has been a phenomenal cultural shift. The ground breaking #MeToo and #TimesUp movements have not only awakened a global consciousness but been the driving force for change, improving, forever, gender parity and personal safety and enabling women and men to cohabit the workplace in mutual respect, peace and productive harmony. Or has it?
Catherine Arden’s practical and insightful interactive workshop demonstrates how both genders can achieve a better balance, play to their natural but different strengths and move forward with clarity and confidence. She highlights the important role that we can play in helping colleagues and companies to evolve.
By the end of the session participants will:
• Have a better understanding of what is behind the hashtags, MeToo and TimesUp, and how these issues relate to them in their day to day work environment
• Be more knowledgeable about the moral and legal rights regarding women’s equality and be more confident to assert, articulate and share within the workplace environment
• Be aware of ways to follow up and to contribute to improving women’s standing and visibility not only to the workplace but in society at large
