Director of Membership
Natalie joined WIBF as Director of Membership in 2018 to deepen the engagement with both our individual members and our institutional partners. Natalie has worked in financial services for 20 years. She started her career in Treasury before moving into Network Management, spending 11 years with Goldman Sachs. Following a 2 year career break to look after her children, Natalie returned to financial services in 2013, working first for Morgan Stanley before joining Deutsche Bank in their Regulatory Group.
Natalie is passionate about diversity and has been a strong advocate of inclusion throughout her FS career, and five years ago she made the decision to move into this area full-time. Since then Natalie spent three years at Timewise, a gender diversity & flexible working specialist, as their Programme Director, before joining Santander UK as their D&I Lead. Natalie has recently accepted a senior role at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation as EMEA Director of Diversity & Inclusion. Natalie is a regular speaker and panellist on diversity and inclusion. In 2018 she co-authored the Government Equalities Office best practice guidance for employers on returner programmes and facilitated a focus group at No. 10 Downing Street on the subject. In 2019, Natalie was asked to record a podcast for The Flexible Movement on flexible working as a lever to address the gender pay gap.
