Jennie joined the WIBF Board as the Birmingham Chair in May 2017 to establish a new hub and presence in one of the UK’s largest cities.

Formerly of RBS, Jennie specialised in Risk Management, most recently in the context of ensuring compliance with the Remuneration Rules, she was also the regional co-chair of the RBS Women employee led network and the Diversity & Inclusion Lead for her function.

Jennie’s passion to support and develop others to achieve their ambitions is reflected in her drive to inspire the potential future pipeline of women in banking through speaking at universities and schools to break down misconceptions of working in the sector. Jennie was named in Financial Times 2018 EMpower top 30 Future Ethnic Minority Leaders.

In 2016, Jennie was also recognised for her volunteering service with the Prince’s Trust as a Business Mentor to young Entrepreneurs from the Enterprise Scheme with an invitation to the Prince of Wales’ garden party at Buckingham Palace as part of the 40th Anniversary of the Prince’s Trust.
