Victoria Pringle – Volunteer of the Month – July 2021

Victoria is the Chair of the newly invigorated Glasgow branch who joined WIBF in the midst of the pandemic lockdown. Victoria’s “can do” action orientated and tenacious approach has led to the recruitment of further volunteers and creation of a newly formed regional board to enhance WIBFs presence, enabling us to Connect, Challenge and Inspire our members not just in Glasgow but beyond as we currently continue with our virtual event offerings.

Victoria’s energy and passion means that she not only Chairs the Glasgow Board but also undertakes numerous roles within that in building local relationships, engaging and seeking speakers for workshops and topics in response to our local members’ needs as well as taking on the regional mentoring responsibilities which has accelerated the reinvigoration of Glasgow offering.

It has been inspiring to see Victoria build and grow the Glasgow branch in such a short space of time and I’m positive there is still more to come.
