Katherine Lee – Volunteer of the month – October 2021

Katherine has been a volunteer in the Finance section with WIBF for about 18 months now and she was instrumental in ensuring a smooth transition when we had a change in leadership at the beginning of the year.  She has continued to support our new CFO and the evolution of the Finance organisation.

In between having a senior job in Credit Suisse and raising her two young kids, she always finds time to progress on the Finance department’s initiatives and increase transparency on the information through appropriate build out of MI.

She was nominated by WIBF CFO, Evie Vanezi, who said “She is always keen to take on more and make a difference and always available to step in when others in the team’s commitments may require us to take some time out. She is approachable and always greets you with a smile – making a difference in her own way.”

Katherine is definitely part of the future of WIBF and this is a small recognition for her great contribution to date.
