Gen Y: Millennials in the Workplace Event, London, 30th April 2018

As a qualified accountant Chloe has spent the last 20 years in a number of Senior leadership roles working in Retail, Finance, Financial Services within both FTSE 100, FMCG and Entrepreneurial Start-ups.Throughout her career, she has seen that the businesses which succeed are not always those with the most data, the most money, the best insight, the highest margins, the previous history or the ‘well known’ brand, but the ones that truly dedicate time, attention, communication and resources to the individualisation of their people. This applies equally to leaders, colleagues, clients and customers.

Chloe’s passion today is about the voids that exist between the generations in the workplace today. There is an increasing mind-set gap between Millennials and Executives and if attempts are not made to bridge it then organisations will fail – in Chloe’s latest paper “Reversing the generation paradox” following research on millennials, focus is placed on 3 fundamental areas that can create competitive advantage in a 5 generation workforce – Individualisation, Connectivity and Reality.
