Becoming a mentor with a Digital Membership

As a mentor, you can benefit from providing experience-based advice, regardless of whether your organisation has a mentoring scheme or not. We believe our six-month mentoring programme will match you with a mentee who could benefit from your skills and experience in their career journey. It can also help you develop your leadership approach, clarify your own career goals, and give you the chance to shape the leaders of the future.
Being a mentor at WIBF also means joining a supportive community of mentors, where you can share insights and best practices with others who are just as passionate about fostering talent. You’ll be contributing to a network that champions diversity, equity and inclusion, and you’ll see the impact of your guidance firsthand as your mentee grows in confidence and capability.
Please note, a digital membership doesn't include access to a mentor yourself.
Signing up is simple and takes just 5 to 10 minutes to complete. The mentoring team will then match you with a mentee within 2 weeks.
On signing up to the WIBF Mentoring programme, you agree to:
Contact your mentee once paired to introduce yourself and organise your first meeting
Participate for the full six month period
Spend on average one hour a month with your mentee
Be prepared for your sessions
Respect the time of your mentee. If your situation changes so you are unable to commit fully please contact the operations team to let them know.
Send us your feedback through the platform - we’re always looking to make things better!

If you need any support to complete your profile, go to the lightbulb in PushFar and look for 'PushFar Platform Guidelines' and ‘Guidelines for Mentors’. An incomplete profile can mean a delay in pairing you.
