Recognising Talent
At WIBF, recognising and celebrating achievement has always been an important part of our mission. By shining a spotlight on individuals and organisations making a difference across financial services, we help raise the visibility of talent, inspire others and showcase the many ways progress is being driven across our industry.
Since 1998, the WIBF Awards for Achievement have recognised those who are challenging the status quo, advancing gender equity and inclusion, and creating positive change within their organisations and communities. As the first awards dedicated to celebrating the achievements of women in financial services, they remain a cornerstone of WIBF’s commitment to recognising excellence and impact.
Recognition extends beyond our awards programme. Through initiatives such as our People of Impact series and Alumni Recognition Month, we continue to celebrate the individuals whose leadership, innovation, advocacy and dedication are helping to shape the future of financial services.
In 2026 we will be running an Alumni Recognition Month in November, celebrating the achievements and ongoing impact of past award winners. We are also launching People of Impact, an ongoing series showcasing individuals from our Corporate Partner organisations who are making a meaningful difference within their organisations and the wider financial services industry.
The Awards for Achievement will return in November 2027. In the meantime, you can explore our latest recognition initiatives and highlights from previous awards below.

People of Impact
People of Impact is a profile series celebrating individuals from WIBF Corporate Partner organisations who are making a meaningful difference across banking, finance and financial services.
The series shines a spotlight on people at all career stages whose work, leadership, innovation, advocacy, mentoring, volunteering or commitment to inclusion is creating a positive impact within their organisation, their community or the wider industry.
As part of WIBF's Corporate Partnership membership, People of Impact provides an opportunity to recognise and showcase the talented individuals helping to shape the future of financial services, while sharing their experiences, insights and achievements with the wider WIBF community.
Through these profiles, we aim to celebrate success, inspire others and highlight the many different ways people contribute to progress across our industry.
We will be adding profiles in the autumn, so we encourage you to revisit this page regularly to discover the latest People of Impact stories.

Alumni Recognition Month
Throughout November, WIBF will be celebrating the achievements and contributions of former WIBF Award winners through Alumni Recognition Month.
Over the years, WIBF Awards have recognised hundreds of individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, advocacy and impact across banking, finance and financial services. Alumni Recognition Month provides an opportunity to reconnect with some of these inspiring individuals, reflect on their journeys since receiving their award and celebrate the continued difference they are making across the industry.
Through a series of profiles, interviews and reflections, we will spotlight past winners, share their insights and showcase the lasting impact of their work. The month is designed not only to recognise individual achievements, but also to highlight the wider contribution that WIBF Awards alumni continue to make within their organisations, communities and the financial services sector as a whole.
Check back throughout November as we share stories from across our alumni community.
