WIBF Bristol is run by members for members, and our mission is to empower our members to realise their full potential. Members participate in events with a diverse group of people in relaxed and informal surroundings to broaden their networks, stretch and enrich their skills and experience, and most importantly, have a great deal of fun.

The Branch provides a unique opportunity for women working in the Banking, Finance, Insurance and Legal sectors in Bristol and the South West. The focus is on individual, professional and career development, with good opportunities to network with other women working in the sector. At WIBF Bristol we deliver a structured calendar of events, most of which are free to members.

About Us

WIBF in Bristol was established in 2007, after three women working in the financial sector were talking over a coffee and started to think about the kind of networking events that they wanted to attend, events that were stimulating, relevant to their own careers and exciting to participate in.

Subsequently, a Management Team was formed from women across the banking, financial, legal and insurance sectors, who have been meeting since then to develop the programme of events that followed in 2008 and 2009.

We have an exciting programme of events scheduled for 2010 - please check the Diary of Events in Bristol. Events are grouped under three key programme categories: Personal Excellence, Distinguished Speaker, and Networking.
