Why did you join?

I was keen to meet and network with other women in the City. I was also interested in learning to become a better public speaker.

I had been a Fund Manager and Senior Equity Analyst working in Global Financial Markets in Sydney, Australia. Shortly after relocating to London, my role was made redundant. Following a period of reflection, I decided to embark on a second career. I retrained to become an Executive Coach and Executive Team Facilitator, mainly working with financial services companies.

How long have you been on the management team?
I was appointed the Manager of the 2008 Personal Excellence Programme in May 2007. I was appointed Vice President in February 2011.
What does your current WIBF role involve?

I became President on the 13th June 2011.
I focus on the formulation of strategy, corporate relationships, being a sounding board for the Management Committee and providing insight from my previous role as an Executive Vice President in the Funds Management industry.

How have you benefited from joining WIBF?

The enthusiasm and commitment of the executive committee is infectious. I also enjoy meeting a wide range of women – from our young members who are still making their way in the City to our accomplished senior executives. There is a spirit of co-operation, support and fun

Favourite WIBF Event

I always find the PEP workshops a great way to learn, have some fun and get to know other women. I also enjoy moderating our discussion panels or senior speaker events.
