In the current economic climate it is important that professional women have the experience and the expertise to have a portfolio career. Women need to become much more proactive in widening their opportunities and seizing the moment. Board opportunities will often provide women with transferable skills which will benefit them in either the work place or in other roles when seeking promotional opportunities.

In our series of ‘Women on Boards’, we are delighted to have Noreen Doyle as our speaker who has a credible portfolio of non-executive directorships on various corporate boards, having had a successful career in the banking sector. How did she do it? How important was demonstrable leadership qualities? How did she use her expertise to make an impact? Come and find out more!

Noreen will bring a personal perspective of her experience and share her successes and challenges whilst serving on Corporate Boards and the importance of working collaboratively with Board colleagues.

The evening will provide women with a personal insight and hopefully the confidence to go for those Boardroom positions.

This event will be popular so please email Ann Leverett to confirm your attendance - ann.leverett@wibf.org.uk
