The search and selection process in any organisation is a mystery to many. One never gets the ‘real’ scoop on why they were passed over for promotion. This workshop will de-mystify the process and equip you with the know-how to look good on paper and sound good when presenting yourself.

This workshop is for you if:

  • You want to find that next perfect job in your organisation, but you don’t know what matters most when compiling your CV
  • You want to demonstrate your experience in order to get a promotion
  • You want to present yourself effectively, but are unsure what to emphasise about your career history

Like a highly trained hound in the hunt for that perfect role, this workshop aims to help participants track down roles through networking in your organisation more effectively, by fine-tuning your interview skills and by your improving CV.
Finding your dream role or getting that desired promotion requires a combination of know-how. Forget being reluctant to talk about yourself. Forget thinking that highlighting your attributes comes across as bragging. Forget playing down your strengths in an attempt to appear modest. This workshop will provide the strategic approach and vital skill set needed to seek out the best opportunities and feel confident when applying for them.
To obtain that role or promotion you have to learn how to:

  • create a compelling CV or profile
  • optimise your strengths and attributes both on paper and verbally
  • perform well when interviewed
  • place the right emphasis on certain strengths
  • highlight your key attributes

Participants will leave with the essentials to developing an eye-catching CV with all the information that best highlights their achievements, to persuasively discussing their competencies and to tackling the ever-important and always necessary skill that networking plays in their ultimate success of capturing that promotion or dream role. Please bring your CV along.
