WIBF is delighted to invite you to a Women on Boards Forum to hear from experts who are involved In non-executive directorship appointments. The mini workshop will be delivered by a senior consultant, expert in Board level appointments who will share insight, knowledge and experience, and provide next steps on how to go about securing your next non-executive directorship appointment.

Speakers:

Lynne Cantor is currently a Non Executive Director and Vice Chair of the North Middlesex University Hospital Trust as well as Chair and active member of several committees. She is a highly experienced international operations director having worked in the private sector for over 25 years delivering results in challenged environments across Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. Having been at Director level for 12 years, Lynne now uses her entrepreneurial spirit to run two businesses focusing on Executive Image and Positive Presenting, helping others to achieve their full potential.  Lynne believes the secret to success is continuous self development and networking. She has been a member of Women In Banking and Finance (WIBF) since 1996, joining the WIBF Speakers - City club (affiliated to Toastmasters International) in 2007, and she is the current Great Britain and Ireland ‘Speaking to Evaluate’ Champion.

Fran Moscow works with CEOs, board directors and high potential individuals to think clearly about the future they are creating and supports them in achieving it.  She supports CEO’s in succession planning, aligns senior teams and works with private equity portfolio companies to prepare the senior team for exit.

Her remit is to challenge strategy, thinking and behaviour to achieve business objectives, raise performance, generate sustainable change and satisfy the expectations of the Shareholders and Stakeholders. Fran also works with senior women who aspire to a seat on the board as well as presenting to organisations on this subject.   She focuses on educating women around three key areas: Personal branding, Technical expertise and advice around the criteria required to position themselves as a Board Director or NED. Fran stimulates thinking around perceived challenges, sacrifices and the choices necessary if women wish to pursue this route.

Peter Reichwald has 14 years’ experience in recruitment. He joined Harvey Nash four years ago as a consultant in both our Board and Government and Public Sector Practices. Peter has extensive experience of appointing Chairmen and Non-Executive Directors across the public sector for organisations such as the Technology Strategy Board, Food Standards Agency, Consumer Council for Water, Ofwat, Natural England, the Standards Board for England. He has extensive experience working with regulators such as the Nursinf & Midwifery Council, The Law Society, the General Medical Council and the General Optical Council. He also has a strong reputation in recruiting Non-Executive Directors to the NHS. Peter also recruits to the Not-for-Profit sector for roles such as Chair and trustees and CEOs.

Peter is particularly respected for bringing diversity forward and leads Harvey Nash’s diversity initiative, Tbay. Peter is increasingly working with the private sector helping to address diversity on Boards. Before entering the recruitment sector Peter had experience of both the private and not-for-profit sectors. He is a Trustee of World Jewish Relief and a regular speaker at the Financial Times Non Executive Director Club seminars.
