The inaugural meeting of the Advisory Board was held on the 25th May. Christine Lawrence and the incoming President, Sylvana Caloni, met with several of the Advisory Board members to discuss the role, and strategy of WIBF and some new ideas given the current financial market landscape. We are grateful for the wisdom, experience and insights of this influential group.

Golf is still key in business. It provides the perfect setting to informally network at those client or corporate golf events. Many deals are closed on the golf course and WIBF do not want women to miss out on such opportunities!
Are you a beginner? Not a problem! A PGA professional will be present on the evening to show you the basics of the swing. If you are an intermediate or proficient player, please come and join us, for a group lesson at the driving range in a friendly environment. Group lesson, clubs, golf balls, complimentary drinks and nibbles are all included in the fee. Few places remaining.

Wine Tasting by the Millenium Bridge!
David Green and the staff at the Durius Café will provide WIBF with a tutored tasting through some fine Spanish wines, complemented by Spanish nibbles sourced from the café’s own farm in Salamanca. We will be networking while sampling our way through 8 wines including red, white and rose wines – commencing with a glass of bubbles on arrival.
To all our networkers, we would love to see you join us for some summer networking at this event. To cover the cost of the venue and tasting, a small charge of £5 for members and £10 for non-members is payable to register for the event.
