What’s the difference between updating your CV to apply for similar jobs to your current role versus preparing your CV for a non-executive appointment (NED)?

If you are interested in finding out the differences and would like help preparing a CV for a NED appointment while also receiving hints and tips for filling out application forms that will allow you to secure a NED role within the public sector or charity then this is the workshop session for you. Changing the Chemistry have kindly agreed to work with our members by presenting a workshop based on preparing for your NED career.

Changing the Chemistry (CTC) is a multi-talented group drawn from a wide variety of backgrounds. Their aim is to increase diversity on all types of Boards, as evidence suggests that increasing board diversity improves the performance of organisations and can thereby also benefit the wider economy.

Their unique approach is that they share the responsibility to help each other, volunteering time and skills in a peer-to-peer support network.

They invest time through a peer to peer support network to develop their members so they receive the skills, confidence and knowledge to secure non-executive board positions.

Adding value is their aim and their members receive support to ensure they are an asset to any board they sit on, and organisation they represent.

Timings:

5.30pm – Registration
6.00pm – Session commences
8.00pm – Close

Parking at Venue:

There is parking in Thistle Street, George Street and St Andrews Square where charges end at 6.30pm and the tariff is £3.50 an hour.

Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment!
