Corporate Ladies Golf Challenge - London

If you have attended any of our last three golf days, you will be able to confirm that the WIBF golf day is a great networking opportunity and a wonderful way to wind down for the weekend. Our next event will take place at the Selsdon Park Hotel & Golf Course in Surrey on Friday 5th September 2008.

Why the Challenge? – WIBF is passionate about giving women the skills to confidently and successfully take part in Corporate Golf days.

All are welcome, beginners, intermediates and proficient players the day will be targeted at your current experience and aim to develop your confidence in the sport.

Course Overview
Unique because it is only 13miles to London, the Selsdon Golf Course’s 205 acres of rolling downs and woodlands provide the setting for a most beautiful 18 hole Golf Course. The scenery is breathtaking and standing on the first tee, the golfer is greeted by a wide right angled fairway sloping gracefully into the distance (506 yards). Every hole has received detailed attention to ensure that the overall balance in terms of length, position of hazards and shot values are in harmony. As a result, Selsdon Golf Course should present the right test for this competition in all weather conditions.

Golf Challenge Day

Our day will begin with refreshments and registration at 9.30am. Use of practice range and putting green are included.

Beginners and Intermediates
After registration we will join the Golf Professionals Stewart and Mark for individual tuition and practice followed by lunch in the hotel restaurant.
Following lunch we will progress to the golf course. Stewart and Mark will also join us to help participants take their skills from the practice environment onto the course and provide tips on golf course etiquette.
Prizes for the best improved players will be awarded.

Proficient players
After registration players will play the first 11 holes. This will be an opportunity to network with other attendees with fun challenges such as nearest the pin, longest drive etc. with prizes in all categories followed by a light lunch.
After lunch participants will split into teams for the WIBF 2008 Golf Challenge - each team to consist of four women. Any individual players will be organised into mixed teams.

and finally……..

All participants will then enjoy a drinks reception and canapés and we will close the day with the presentation of the WIBF 2008 Challenge Cup and individual prizes for all sections.
