A Wardrobe that Works - Scotland

Lorraine Majdi, Fashion Advisor at John Lewis, Edinburgh, presents a Wardrobe that Works. In this workshop, Lorraine will show you how looking good everyday can be simple and inexpensive when you dress imaginatively from a wardrobe that works. Lorraine encourages you to think of your wardrobe as a whole, rather than the sum of its parts. She will take you through a month’s worth of different outfits from one carefully selected capsule wardrobe - even creating an outfit to take you to a wedding!

“The most important thing a woman can do fashion-wise is invest in a core wardrobe”, says Lorraine, “A versatile wardrobe is key to clever and successful dressing, and with a mixture of colours, textures and tailoring, a modern look that works can be achieved”.

Registration:When you arrive at 18:00 please make your way to the ‘Gift List’ department on level 5 of the John Lewis store.

18:00 to 18:30: Drinks reception and canapés.

18:30 to 19:15: A Wardrobe that Works by Lorraine Majdi, Fashion Advisor at John Lewis.

19:15 to 20:00: Opportunity to shop at the Women’s fashion department at John Lewis.
